Sisneri road was obstructed by landslip in Makawanpur

Bagmati: Sisneri road in Makawanpur district leading to the Kathmandu Valley has been obstructed by a landslide caused due to rain since Sunday night.

As a result, transport has been disrupted, said the area police office, Bhimphedi. So, a diversion has been created for vehicles and pedestrians to lead to Kathmandu through Hetauda-Bhimphedi, it added. The landslip has occurred at Ramchandra Bhanjyang at Indrasarobar Rural Municipality-3 in Makawanpur district.

Efforts from the local government and the Department of Roads are underway to clear the obstructed road, said Inspector Pratima Karki. —
