Nepal T-20 league to take place on September 24

Kathmandu: The First Edition of the Nepal T-20 cricket league is taking place from the upcoming September 24 to October 22.

Minister for Youth and Sports Maheshwor Jung Gahatraj officially announced the match at a press conference in Kathmandu on Wednesday.

Organized by the Cricket Association of Nepal, the venue for the tournament has been fixed as the Kirtipur-based Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground.

The Cricket Association informed that six teams would participate in the T-20 league.

CAN President Chatur Bahadur Chand expressed the hope that the game would help Nepali cricket take professional strides.
