Public holiday on Friday

Kathmandu: The government has decided to grant a public holiday on the voting day of the May 13 local level election.

Issuing a press statement today, the ministry of home affairs has stated that there will be a public holiday for government offices and public agencies across the country on Friday.

A meeting of the council of ministers held yesterday decided to provide a holiday on Election Day.
