Ruling Nepali Congress directs its lawmakers for mandatory attendance in parliament
Kathmandu: The Nepali Congress has directed the party members to attend a meeting of the House of Representatives scheduled for Thursday.
Party Whip Pushpa Bhusal said all the lawmakers from the party in the lower house have been asked to compulsorily attend the session which is scheduled to deliberate on the MCC proposal tabled by the government.
Likewise, Democratic Socialist Party has delegated the rights to decide on the matter MCC to the party Chair Mahanta Thakur. The parliamentary party meeting of the party delegated the rights to the chairman Thakur.
Party leader Laxman Lal Karna said the party has issued a whip to its lawmakers to compulsorily attend the parliament meeting on Thursday.
