Odd-even scheme removed on operation of public vehicles

January 29, Kathmandu: The Kathmandu Valley administrations have removed the odd-even number scheme in public vehicles imposed earlier in the wake of the third wave of coronavirus.

The meeting of the chief district officers of Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur on Friday lifted the odd-even scheme.

However, this scheme remains effective in case of private vehicles including two wheelers and taxi, according to the meeting decision.

The odd-even number scheme is not enforced on the vehicles used for essential service.
