Finance Minister Shama urges banking sector to abandon tendency of grabbing large amount of profit during crisis

Kathmandu: Finance Minister Janardan Shama has urged the Banks and the financial institutions to abandon the tendency to grab large amount of profit during the time of crisis.

Addressing a program organized by the Confederation of Banks and Financial Institutions Nepal in Kathmandu on Monday, Finance Minister Sharma said the existing corporate tax could be reduced and the banking sector should not focus on making large scale of profits during Crisis like Covid pandemic.
