NC finalizes six candidates for the National Assembly member election

Kathmandu: The Nepali Congress has finalized six candidates for the National Assembly member election.

Chief Secretary of the Nepali Congress Central Office Krishna Prasad Poudel said a central working committee meeting of the party held on Monday finalized the names of the candidates for the election from the Nepal Congress.

The meeting decided to nominate Gopal Kumar Basnet as the candidate from Province 1, Krishna Prasad Poudel from Bagmati Province, Kamala Panta from Gandaki Province, Durga Kumari Gurung from Karnali province, Yubraj Sharma from Lumbini  Province and Narayan Dutta Mishra from Sudurpaschim Province.

Likewise, The CPN (UML) has also finalized the names of 19 candidates for National Assembly member election.

Similarly, CPN Unified Socialist have finalized the 4 names of candidates for the election. The candidates will file their candidacy for the National assembly member post in the Election Commission on Tuesday.
