World Bank stresses to make more efforts in maintaining fiscal federalism

December 7, Kathmandu: The World Bank has stressed the need for making more efforts to maintain fiscal stability in Nepal though the country made noticeable progress in implementing fiscal federalism.
Unveiling a report about Nepal’s public expenditure in Kathmandu on Monday, the World Bank pointed out the need for additional support to Nepal for fiscal stability and green, resilient and inclusive development.
On the occasion, the World Bank Country Director to Nepal Faris Hadad-Zervos believed that the report would help the World Bank form an assistance outline to Nepal.
