South Korea to provide financial assistance worth over Rs 800 million to Nepal for establishing Cyber Bureau building
The Republic of Korea is to provide financial assistance worth over 800 million rupees to Nepal for the establishment of the state-of-the-art building of Cyber Bureau.
An agreement for the same was signed between Secretary at the Home Ministry Tek Narayan Pandey and Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) Country Director Sunghoon Ko in Kathmandu on Wednesday.
According to the Ministry of Home Affairs, the financial assistance will be utilized for building digital forensic lab, procuring equipment related to cyber-crime investigation and for capacity building of human resources in the Nepal Police.
KOICA will coordinate efforts with the Nepal Police for the implementation of this project within six years.
