Elections underway in CPN(UML)’s 10th General Convention

November 30, Chitwan: Elections are underway for electing Chairman and a few secretariat members and central committee members, in the 10^th General Convention of CPN (UML) underway in Sauraha, Chitwan.

The elections began at 4 am on Tuesday morning, according to our Chitwan correspondent.

Elections began on Tuesday morning after chairman KP Sharma Oli and chairman-candidate party vice-chair Bhim Rawal cast their vote.  

Meanwhile, Leaders Ishwar Pokhrel and Shankar Pokhrel were elected unopposed Senior Vice- Chairman and General Secretary of the CPN (UML) in new leadership respectively.

Similarly, leaders Pradeep Kumar Gyawali, Prithivi Subba Gurung and Bishnu Rimal were also elected unopposed as Deputy General Secretaries.
