Regular hearings in Supreme Court affected on Sunday as well
Regular hearings on cases filed in the Supreme Court remained affected on Sunday as well as many justices boycotted assigned benches.
Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher JB Rana had assigned 10 benches for 2 hundred and 72 cases for Sunday, but hearings were conducted on only 4 of the cases. Only 2 benches held hearing on the cases on Sunday.
The Chief Justice however did not assign any hearing for himself today. The Supreme Court judges have been refusing to conduct the hearing since the October 24 calling for Chief Justice Rana’s resignation.
Meantime, Nepal Bar Association continued protest demanding Chief justice Jabara’s resignation.
