Boat accident in Mahakali

One person has died and another is missing in a boat accident on the Mahakali River.

Police Spokesperson Inspector Darshan Khadka said the deceased has been identified as Meena Saud of Shivnath Municipality-1. Similarly, Sandeep Saud of Shivnath-1 has gone missing.

A boat carrying 10 people met with an accident at Shivnath-1 Khandghat on the Mahakali River on Wednesday evening.

Police said the search for the missing is underway. Nepal Police and Armed Police Force have been mobilized for the search.
