MCC is in Nepal’s interest: PM Deuba

October 22, Mahendranagar: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said the Millenium Challenge Corporation (MCC) pact is in the interest.

Prime Minister Deuba said this during an interaction with journalists after inspecting flood-hit areas in Kailai district.

He also expressed the belief that the pact would be endorsed by the parliament.

The Prime Minister clarified that the MCC was not above and beyond the laws of Nepal, adding that the MCC was not against Nepal’s interest.
