Weather expected to improve with exit of rain-causing system

Kathmandu: The weather has improved throughout the country with the withdrawal of the rain-causing system from the eastern part.

Most of the areas across the country including Kathmandu Valley have witnessed sunny weather since the morning today.

Senior meteorologist Barun Poudel said another weather system will not likely develop in four or five days from now. The combined influence of the low-pressure system over Bihar of India and the westerly system had caused heavy rainfall from 17^th to 20^th of October.

The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, Meteorological Forecasting Division said the weather is partly to generally cloudy throughout the country with light rainfall taking place at one or two places of Province 1 and Bagmati province. There is the possibility of light rain at a few places of Province 1, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, and at one or two places of the rest of the provinces.
