Radio Nepal and NHEICC sign agreement for raising public health awareness

October 6, Kathmandu: Radio Nepal and the National Center for Health Education, Information and Communication (NHEICC) have signed an agreement for the production and broadcasting of health-related information, messages, and programs. 

The agreement was signed by Buddhi Bahadur KC, executive director of Radio Nepal and Sunil Sharma, director of NHEICC.

Radio Nepal will be broadcasting a radio program titled ‘health activities’ every Tuesday from 6:25 pm to 6:40 pm and ‘Jana Swasthya’ (public health) radio drama and discussion program on Wednesday from 6:25 pm to 6:40 pm, according to the agreement.  

Similarly, as per the agreement, Radio Nepal would air various information and messages about public health awareness throughout the year.
