CPN-UML’s first statute general convention concludes with decision of making arrangement of 15 member Central Office Bearers
The first Statute General Convention of the CPN-UML has endorsed the party’s political and organizational reports including statute amendment proposals with revisions.
Party Chairman KP Sharma Oli had presented the political report while General Secretary Iswor Pokhrel had presented the organizational report. Likewise, Deputy -General Secretary Bishnu Paudel had presented the statute amendment proposal in the statute general convention.

Meanwhile, the convention has also decided to make arrange4mnet of 15-member central office-bearers including the Chairperson.
As per the convention, a 2 hundred and 25 members central committee would be formed with the guarantee of 33 per cent representation of women. Similarly, the party would have a 45 member standing committee.
The Statute General Convention also unanimously approved a 15 member election committee of the party lead by Dr Bijaya Subba.

Addressing the Convention, CPN-UML Chair Oli said his party’s primary goal was to make the country prosperous with good governance, development and happy society.
Saying attacks are being launched on the party’s ideology and organization, chairman Oli claimed that the small attempts would not stop his party from victory in the upcoming elections.
