Both Houses of federal parliament pass budget for current fiscal year

The both houses of the federal parliament passed the budget for the current fiscal year 2021/22 on Monday.

The budget was passed along with the endorsement of appropriation bill 2021 Finance Bill 2021,and ‘Bill to Raise National Debt 2021 by both the houses of federal parliament.

Secretary at the House of Representatives Gopal Nath Yogi informed the house meeting regarding the message related to Finance Bill and ‘Bill to Raise National Debt received from the National Assembly.

Likewise, in the meeting, Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota read out a letter received from the Office of the President related to the authentication of the Appropriation Bill, 2021.

The Finance bill and Bill to raise national debt will come to implementation once the speaker verifies and president authenticates them.

Meanwhile, Finance Minister Jananrdan Sharma has directed to the secretaries of the respective ministries to immediately prepare work plan and executive them for the implementation of the budget.
