UML Chair Oli condemns vandalism at govt employees’ office

September 24, Kathmandu: The CPN (UML) Chairperson KP Sharma Oli on Thursday expressed his concerns about the security agencies ‘failing’ to take action against those who vandalised the office of the Nepal Civil Service Employees’ Association.

The former Prime Minister condemned the vandalism reportedly perpetrated by a section of the employees and protested the arrest of some leaders of the Association in connection with the incident.

He was addressing a gathering of party cadres organised here by the Kathmandu Valley special province committee, UML.

On the occasion, UML General Secretary Ishwor Pokharel accused leader Madhav Kumar Nepal of betraying communist movements by opening a new party.

Similarly, party standing committee member Ram Bahadur Thapa ‘Badal’ said that party cadres from a ‘special’ area should help with the country’s politics through their ‘special’ work.
