Landslides Kill 11 people at different parts of Kushma in Parbat

Eleven people have been killed in a landslide that occurred last night at Kushma municipality of Parbat.

The police said five people of the same family were killed in Durlung, and a person was killed in Ambot of Kushma-3 and five other were killed in Kushma-1.

Chief District Officer of Parbat Devi Pandey Khatri says the landslide has disrupted electricity supply, and telephone and internet services in the district.

Likewise, two people were swept away by the flash-flood in the Karra rivulet of Hetauda-17 in Makawanpur on Friday.

The police said the flooded the Karra rivulet swept a truck along with its driver and another person in the truck today. They are still unaccounted for.
