Anti-Covid-19 vaccines being used in Nepal show robust anti-body level: Study

The two-dose vaccines being used in Nepal have shown 90% anti-body level against Covid-19.

Issuing a press statement on Sunday, the Health Ministry informed that a recent study carried out in Nepal showed 80% anit-body level in recipients of the first dose, and 90% anti-body level in recipients of the second dose.

Health Ministry’s Spokesperson Dr. Krishna Prasad Paudel said 68.6% of the total 13 thousand one hundred and 13 samples selected for the study developed the excellent anit-body level in the vaccine recipients. The samples were collected from June 5 to August 14.

The ministry further informed that the samples collected from seven provinces and all geography of Nepal demonstrated the similar anit-body level.

It has also urged all to adopt health safety measures as the infection risk is prevalent due to emergence of new variants.
