Japan made AstraZeneca vaccines arrive in Kathmandu

Kathmandu: The AstraZeneca vaccine provided by the Japanese government has arrived in Kathmandu, today.
More than 5 hundred, 59 Thousand doses of vaccines provided by the Japanese government through the CoVAX facility have arrived in Kathmandu today.
The Ministry of Health and Population spokesperson, Dr Krishna Prasad Poudel said that 1.6 million doses of vaccines have already arrived from Japan.
Similarly, the spokesperson of the ministry, Dr Poudel, said that an additional 1.6 million doses of the Vero cell vaccine will be received from China soon.
He informed that regular vaccinations will be given to those below 50 years of age and those who are in priority.
