Private sectors should work for production-oriented economy: FM Sharma

August 15, Kathmandu: Minister for Finance Janardan Sharma has urged private sectors to put forth meaningful effort for ensuring a production-oriented economy.

Addressing the second virtual general convention of the Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FNCCI) on Saturday, Finance Minister stressed on private sectors working for increasing production to replace imports.

He also pledged to overhaul policies necessary for enhancing production and bringing the informal sector to formal economic activates and sought suggestions from the private sector.
