PM Deuba expresses gratitude to Bhutanese King and PM

August 7, Kathmandu: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba on Friday expressed gratitude to the King and Prime Minister of Bhutan for their assistance in Nepal’s fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Welcoming the friendly gesture of Bhutan that provided 230,000 doses of Covishield vaccines against COVID-19 during the pandemic, Prime Minister Deuba took to his Twitter to thank King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and Prime Minister Dr Lotey Tshering.

Prime Minister Deuba also expressed commitment that Nepal would help Bhutan in the opportune time in the future. The government has been giving continuity to the vaccination campaign by adopting all possible options in order to provide vaccine against COVID-19 to its all citizens as per its commitment.

The vaccine received from Bhutan has been brought to Kathmandu today.
