United Nations Population Fund provides 800 units of oxygen cylinders to Nepal

August 3, Kathmandu: The United Nations Population Fund has provided 800 units of oxygen cylinders to the government of Nepal in a bid to support Nepal to battle the covid-19. 

United Nations Population Fund’s Deputy Representative Dr Hashina Begum handed over the oxygen cylinders to the Director of Management Division under the Ministry of Health and Population, Dr. Bhim Singh Tinkari.

UNFPA Representative to Nepal Lubna Baqi said the UNFPA would continue to support the Nepal government’s COVID-19 response plans together with other UN agencies and development partners.
