208th Bhanu Jayanti being celebrated today
July 13, Kathmandu: The 208th Bhanu Jayanti is being celebrated on Tuesday.
One of the national luminaries, Bhanubhakta Acharya is considered to be one of the pioneer poets of Nepali literature.
Born on 29th of Asar in 1871 Bikram Sambat in Chudiramgha of Tahanu district, Bhanubhakta is known for having translated the Hindu epic Ramayana in the Nepali language.
