Nepal and India amend railway agreement

July 10, Kathmandu: Nepal and India have amended the existing railway agreement allowing Nepali train’s to ferry goods from various parts of India.
In the virtual meeting held on Friday, officials from both countries had signed the letter of exchange that allows Indian trains to transport goods to various stations in Nepal and Nepali train to reach various parts of India to fetch cargo.
Spokesperson, at the Ministry of Industry Commerce and Supplies Dr Narayan Pd Regmi said, with the agreement, the payment procedure for ferrying cargo from India would be easy.
