PM Oli stresses on creating opportunities for all citizens to enhance research and invention

July 8, Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has stressed creating opportunities for all citizens to enhance their research and invention in the subject of their interests.

Felicitating the inventors and researchers under the Nepal Academy of Science and Technology for their outstanding contribution to the field last year, PM Oli said Nepali scientists could invent globally competitive products if they could make use of the natural resources available in the country and the knowledge left by the ancestors. 

He also claimed that as the country has made a stride in the technology sector, his second kidney transplant was possible in the country itself.

Meantime, he handed over the various awards to the achievers.
