Radio Nepal’s Uditola FM relay station starts test transmission

July 4, Kathmandu: Radio Nepal on Saturday started the test transmission from its Uditola FM relay station at Silgadhi of Doti district.
Executive Director of Radio Nepal Buddhi Bahadur KC said that the relay station in Uditola had been set up as per Radio Nepal’s target to reach all areas of the country within the period of the 15th five-year plan.
Radio Nepal will broadcast its news and programs via 100 Megahertz from Uditola relay station, which is expected to cover large areas of Farwestern Province including Achham, Doti, Dadeldhura, Baitadi districts, and adjoining areas.
Radio Nepal now has as many as twenty-five FM relay stations across the country, including five FM relay stations in the Farwestern Province.
