Probe committee formed to study international flight ticket pricing

June 22, Kathmandu: The Government of Nepal (GoN) has formed a probe committee to investigate the extra fare charged to travellers on international flights.

The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation formed a-five member committee led by Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) Director-General Rajan Pokharel, according to the Spokesperson at the Ministry.

The Joint Secretary at the Ministry Taranath Adhikari shared that the probe committee was formed to carry out the investigation as some travel agencies reportedly charged additional ticketing fare for international flights.
