Nepal defeats Malaysia by 69 runs

April 22, Kathmandu: Nepal has defeated Malaysia by 69 runs on the sixth match of the T20 international Tri-series.

In the match held at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground at Kirtipur on Tuesday, Nepal put a target of 218 runs losing 7 wickets.

Malaysia was limited to 148 runs losing all wickets in 19.1 overs.

Karan KC scored 45 runs in 13 balls for the Nepali side. Likewise, Nepali ballers Sandeep Lamichane, Somapal Kami and Kamal Singh Airi took three wickets each. Sompal Kami was declared the man of the match.

Host Nepal will compete with Netherlands for the title of the series on Saturday.
