4 killed and 17 injured in Dolakha jeep accident

April 13, Charikot: At least four people have died in a jeep accident in Dolkha district. The accident happened at 10 pm on Monday when a jeep veered off the road and fell some two hundred meters at Ladhuk of Bigu Rural Municipality of Dolakha district.

Three people had died on the spot while the remaining one person died in course of treatment.

17 people have also been injured in the accident.

The deceased have been identified as 45-year-old Chandrika Thapa, 43-year-old Aajita Khatri, 52-year-old Radha Khadka and 35-year-old Binod KC.

Police said some of the injured are being treated at the local hospital while the others have been sent to Kathmandu for further treatment.
