President Bidhya Devi Bhandari leaves for Dhaka of Bangladesh

March 22, Kathmandu: President Bidhya Devi Bhandari has departed for Dhaka on her two-day State Visit to Bangladesh.
President Bhandari is paying a two-day State Visit to Bangladesh at the friendly invitation of the President of Bangladesh Mohammad Abdul Hamid.
President Bhandari has left for Dhaka of Bangladesh at 8:30 am on Monday via Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) leading a Nepali delegation.
A total of 54 members including President Bhandari’s daughter Usha Kiran Bhandari, Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali, President’s Communications Expert Tika Prasad Dhakal, Chancellor of Nepal Academy Ganga Prasad Upreti, Secretary at the Office of the President Dr Hari Poudel, Secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Yadav Prasad Koirala, Foreign Affairs Secretary Bharat Raj Paudyal, Industry, Commerce and Supplies Secretary Dinesh Bhattarai, chief of president’s personal secretariat Dr. Bheshraj Adhikari and other will accompany the President at the visit.
It is stated that three separate memorandums of understanding (MoUs) on tourism promotion, sanitary and phytosanitary measures are to be signed between the two countries during the visit.
The President will return home on the 23rd of March wrapping up her visit.
