CPN (UML) Parliamentary Party meet ongoing

March 20. Kathmandu: The CPN (UML) Parliamentary Party meeting is in progress. The meeting convened some time back at the Prime Minister’s official residence at Baluwatar is in progress at present, UML Office Secretary Ishwori Rijal said.

It is said this meeting will amend the UML Parliamentary Party statute. The parliamentary party meeting on March 18 had constituted a three-member statute amendment task force under the convenorship of Chief Whip Bishal Bhattarai.

Party vice-chair Bamdev Gautam is also present in the meeting. According to Rijal, the party’s 12th central committee meeting will be held immediately after the Parliamentary party meet.
