PM Oli urges his party’s leaders and carders not to organize factional gatherings

March 16, Kathmandu: CPN (UML) Chair and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has appealed all not to organise any kind of factional gathering in the name of the party.

Addressing a tea reception for the party’s central members and lawmakers at the Prime Minister’s residence at Baluwatar on Tuesday, PM Oli said nobody had the luxury to carry out works and activities that are anarchic, undisciplined and go against the party’s statute and standard operating process and unity.

He warned of action against them if they were found taking part in factional meetings and anarchic activities.

He added that all the party leaders and carders should be united on our individual basis and work focusing on ideology and principles in the party.

The PM also claimed that the relevance of dissolving the House of Representatives had been proved saying the reinstated House had not able to work due to boycotts and obstructions.

He blamed the oppositions to have obstructed the constitutional process by barring the government from presenting the ordinance in the first meeting of the parliament session.

PM Oli also blamed the house speaker for not being serious bout running the parliament session saying he did not allow the minister to present the bill.

Meanwhile, the tea reception was not attended by the party’s some leaders including senior leader Jhalanath Khanal and Madhav Kumar Nepal.
