Communication Ministry seeks suggestions on issues to be incorporated in upcoming policies, programs and budget
March 15, Kathmandu: The Ministry of Communication and Information Technology has held discussions with stakeholders regarding issues to be incorporated in the upcoming policies, programs and budget of the government.
In a discussion held at the Ministry on Monday, the Ministry received suggestions furnished from the representatives of mass media.
The representatives of the media suggested the Ministry to institutionalize the National Mass Communication Training Academy and Advertisement Board, continuing the long-term programs of the past.
On the occasion, Secretary of the Communication Ministry, Hari Prasad Basyal vowed to include the suggestions to make the mass communication sector more systematic.
Similarly, Executive Director of Radio Nepal, Buddhi Bahadur KC stressed the need for allocating sufficient budget to expand the Radio’s accessibility as envisioned by the government’s policy.
