Leader Nepal discussing with CPN-UML Chairman Oli

March 15, Kathmandu: CPN-UML Chairperson and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli are currently holding discussions with the party’s dissident faction leaders including Madhav Kumar Nepal at the party’s central office in Dhumbarahi, Kathmandu.

Further controversy erupted in the CPN-UML after the Supreme Court’s ruling on March 7 formally separated the then CPN-UML and the CPN-Maoist Center from the Nepal Communist Party (NCP).

After CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli held a special meeting of the party’s central committee on March 11 and changed the responsibilities of the party leaders and nominated 23 members including CPN-(Maoist Centre) central leader Ram Bahadur Thapa ‘Badal’ to the central committee.

Chairman Oli, General Secretary Ishwor Pokharel, leaders Bishnu Poudel, Subhash Nembang, Leader Nepal, Jhala Nath Khanal, Bhim Rawal, and Ghanshyam Bhushal are participating in today’s discussion.
