PM Oli expresses dissatisfaction over HoR meeting process

March 8, Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has expressed his reservation about the incidents that surfaced in the House of the Representatives (HoR) meeting on Sunday.
Speaking at the meeting of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Parliamentary Party at the PM’s official residence on Sunday evening, PM Oli said that the HoR meeting was not conducted as per the parliamentary procedures and practices.
According to parliamentary party chief whip NCP in the National Assembly Khimlal Bhattarai, PM Oli expressed his dissatisfaction as the Speaker of HoR did not consult with Business Advisor Committee prior to the meeting.
Bhattarai further stated that the PM had shared about the future roadmap developed after the court’s verdict on the authenticity of the NCP.
