PM Oli receives Covid vaccine

March 3, Kathmandu: Prime Minister K.P Sharma Oli received Covid-19 vaccination on Sunday morning.
PM Oli received the Covisheild jab from the vaccination centre at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) at Maharajganj.
Prime Minister Oli’s spouse Radhika Shakya along with other high ranking government officials had reached TUTH to receive the vaccine.
The Government of Nepal (GoN) has launched the second phase of the anti-Covid-19 vaccination campaign targeting people above 65 years of age.
Minister for Health and Population Hridesh Tripathi had welcomed PM Oli at the TUTH vaccination centre.
Minster Tripathi also informed about the government’s target to vaccinate 3.7 million people during this phase of vaccination from six thousand vaccination centres across the country.
Minister Tripathi further confirmed the arrival of 348 thousand doses of Covisheild.
