Govt committed to political stability: PM Oli

March 3, Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said the government is firm in its campaign for political stability by removing every obstacle.
Issuing a condolence note on Friday in memory of those who attained martyrdom in the Jhapa movement, PM Oli reiterated that government would work untiringly for prosperity, social justice, and national integrity.
This movement was a dignified effort for uniting the divided communist parties while expanding the demand for republicanism principally put forth by the Communist Party during its establishment, the PM said in his statement.
“We had announced to establish an equitable society along with social justice and republic by uprooting the Panchyat regime and autocratic monarchy while running this movement,” reads the message.
On this day 48 years ago, the then Panchayat regime had murdered Ram Nath Dahal, Netra Ghimire, Biren Rajbansi, Krishna Kuinkel and Narayan Shrestha in the Sukhani jungle, in the pretext of shifting their prison.
