Minister Gurung directs NTA to prepare for bringing 5G service

March 4, Kathmandu: Minister for Communication and Information Technology, Parbat Gurung has said the government has prepared various programs and strategies to materialize the government’s motto of ‘Prosperous Nepal Happy Nepali’.

Addressing the Nepal Telecommunications Authority’s (NTA) 23rd-anniversary function on Thursday, Minister Gurung suggested making the authority’s services easy, qualitative, reliable, and credible.

The Minister urged the NTA to expand its services catering direct benefits to people.

Minister Gurung directed the Authority to prepare for bringing 5G service in the county, reviewing the 4 G service.

On the occasion, Secretary at the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, Hari Prasad Basyal stressed the need for support from all sides for the success of ‘Digital Nepal Framework’.
