Government pays attention to forest conservation – PM Oli

March 3, Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli says the government has been working for the conservation, management and development of forests ensuring benefits for all.

Addressing the Eighth National Council of the Federation of Community Forestry Users Nepal in Kathmandu on Tuesday, the PM said the government would initiate further steps to check the rampant deforestation in the name of forest management.

Lauding the contribution of the community forest users in conserving forests in the country, PM Oli emphasized on promoting the agro-forestry.
