ShreePanchami being observed across the Country

February 16, Kathmandu: People across the country are observing (Shreepanchami), worship of Goddess Saraswati on Tuesday.

ShreePanchami  falls in (January-February )according to Gregorian calendar and in (Magh-Falgun) according to Nepali calendar.

Goddess Saraswati is regarded as the goddess of knowledge,language, music and all arts. She is worshiped as the source of all intelligence and creativity.

Extending best wishes on the occasion ShreePanchami, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli ,wished that social and moral values would prevail in every person in the country.

Prime Minister Oli  has stressed on the need to guide the society on moral and ethical grounds.

He added that it was time to materialize the national campaign of ‘Prosperous Nepal: Happy Nepali’.

The goddess symbolizes creative energy and power in all its form, including longing and love.

Kids start learning alphabets on the occasion of Sri Panchami reaching various temples and pre-primary schools on this day.
