Students launch protest demanding action in rape and subsequent murder of Bhatta

February 8, Kanchanpur: Students from Baljagrit College in Mahendranagar today have launched a demonstration demanding action against those behind the rape and subsequent murder of Bhagirathi Bhatta.

On February 3, Bhatta from Baitadi was raped before being murdered brutally while returning home from school. The protestors have demanded speedy investigations into the murder and justice to the victim.
