PM Oli says he dissolved House as political horse-trading of MPs surfaced
January 21, Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said he dissolved the House of Representatives as political horse-trading of MPs had begun once again in the country. He said as the dirty game began in the house, and opted to go for election to take fresh mandate.
Inaugurating the Second National Assembly of the Press Organisation Nepal in Kathmandu today, Nepal Communist Party Chair and Prime Minister Oli reiterated that the government and the party were determined to move ahead on the journey of development and prosperity by removing the obstacles.
He said he and his party have the obligation of building the country and for it they need to take the path of good governance and development.
On a different note, PM Oli urged the journalists to write in favour of the country, people, democracy, stability and truth, discouraging the Yellow Journalism.
The event was also addressed by the DPM Ishwor Pokhrel , Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel, Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa, and Communications and Information Technology Minister Parbat Gurung among others.
