PM Oli addressing the gathering

January 10, Kathmandu: PM KP Sharma Oli has urged all political parties and civil society leaders not to express anything that affects the case that is under consideration at the court.

Addressing a cadres’ meeting in Kathmandu on Saturday, Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Chairman KP Sharma Oli said the judiciary must be independent and all should respect the rule of law for a matured and advanced democratic system.

PM Oli claimed the House of Representatives was dissolved as there was no alternative left for forming a new government. Moreover, he also urged not be misled to by the rumours that dissolution of the house would lead to instability.

The PM also reiterated the government’s commitment to holding the election on the 30 of April and the 10 of May.

Claiming the election symbol of the party ‘Sun’ would come to him, PM Oli said it would be ridiculous as Puspa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” faction was demanding “Sun” as election symbol now when he had refused to use “Sun” as election symbol earlier.
