Hilly areas to receive scanty rain

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, there is a possibility of a scanty rain today in some hilly areas across the country with partial to general weather change.

The division said it is caused by low-pressure system generated from east of Uttar Pradesh and the surrounding area of Bihar in India.

Meteorologist Bibhuti Pokharel said some hilly areas of Province-1 and Bagmati and Gandaki Provinces may see rain in the afternoon, adding that other areas in the country would, however, have clear weather.
