US accuses Iran of helping Russia launch drone strikes in Ukraine

October 21, Kathmandu: The US has accused Iran of deploying a team of military experts to help launch drone attacks on Ukraine from Russian-controlled Crimea. 

According to a US spokesperson, the Iranians who went to Crimea are technical experts and trainers. 

It is believed that the Kamakaje drone used in the drone attack by Russia on the Ukrainian capital Kyiv last Monday was produced in Iran. 

Meanwhile, the UK has announced further sanctions against Iranian business organizations and businesspersons.
