Professor Dr. KC ends hunger strike

September 25, Kathmandu: The government and Prof Dr Govinda KC, who was on a hunger strike for 13 days demanding reforms in the health sector have forged a 10-point deal on Saturday evening.

Coordinator of the government formed talks team and the Secretary at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Minister Dr Ganesh Prasad Pandey and Prof Dr. KC had signed the agreement.

With the agreement, Prof Dr KC has ended hunger strike from Saturday itself by taking juice from Sarita Chaudhary, a patient’s attendant in Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital.
