Brazilian Embassy organizes Independence Day reception in Kathmandu

September 8, Kathmandu: The Embassy of Brazil in Kathmandu on Wednesday organized a reception to mark its 200^th Independence Day.

The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Dr Narayan Khadka, was the chief guest at the reception.

Addressing the reception, the Ambassador of Brazil to Nepal, Carlos Alberto Michaelsen den Hartog, wished that the bilateral relations between Nepal and Brazil would strengthen in the days to come.

A short video showcasing the natural beauty of Brazil was played during the reception.

People from different walks of life including high-level officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, ambassadors and representatives of different diplomatic missions in Nepal, intellectuals, and journalists attended the reception to mark Brazil’s Independence Day .
