Over 5 thousand dengue cases recorded in Nepal since last January

Kathmandu: The infection of dengue has spread lately in different parts of Nepal.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 5 thousand and 29 cases of dengue have been reported in the country since last January.

Of the total cases, 1 thousand 8 hundred and 32 dengue cases were confirmed in Lalitpur alone.

 Likewise, 8 hundred and 88 in Kathmandu and 99 dengue cases were reported in Bhaktapur.

The Health Ministry has urged all to remain alert and adopt sanitary precautions. The Ministry has also warned that the pandemic could be declared in the country if the cases of dengue increase further.
